  • Bids to be sent to ten.tsacmoc|yeldarbeen#ten.tsacmoc|yeldarbeen and should include the bidders number, bid amount and the lot number.
  • Bids will be increased by one bidding increment. Example: Bidder 1 bids $30 for Lot 1. Bidder 2 then bids $50 for lot 1. Bidder 2 will be the high bidder for Lot 1 at $35, an advance of one bidding increment.
  • Daily bids will be cut off at 8:00 pm ET each day and the daily update of all bids will be completed on line at 11:00 ET pm.
  • Bidding opens October 25th.
  • Final bids are due by 8:00 ET pm November 1, 2020.
  • Payment preferred by personal check but PayPal will be accepted. Installment payments are acceptable.
  • Shipping fees will be the actual cost for insured mail to the US and registered mail to all other countries.

Description: Stampless cover written from Monrovia 19 May 1848 via SHIP received Baltimore AUG 5 (1848). Complete letter with no stains or fold tears. Describes life in Liberia and was written in a beautiful hand by Rachel Eden, few early letters are written by woman.

Description: Two Stampless Covers written from Monrovia March 19 1850 & from an unknown locale also 1850. 6 cents postage paid on both. First is a complete letter with no stains or fold tears. Second is a partial letter with a tear where the paper adhered to the wax seal and a small fold tear on the letter.
