1918 Red Cross Semi-Postal Surcharges
Overview
This set consists of the 1918 Pictorial Issue overprinted with a red cross and is surcharged two cents with proceeds meant for the International Red Cross Society. The overprint was engraved by Perkins, Bacon & Co. and the stamps were issued on August 7th, 1918 [1].
