1959 UNESCO Issue

Issued to publicize the opening of the UNESCO building which opened in Paris on November 3, 1958. The acronym UNESCO stands for United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization. UNESCO is responsible for coordinating international cooperation in education, science, culture and communication.
